MOVING ON!!!!

This journey has been much longer than I anticipated. I will share a few things that I have not shared from the start. I met Julmanise (Jules) in September 2007. I knew immediately she was mine forever! My husband was not totally on board with adopting and taking on the responsibility of another child. We agreed to just pray and ask our
friends to pray with us that GOD would show us "HIS HEART" about this decision.

The following April 2008, Rick, Taylor (our then 10 year old) and myself went to Haiti to spend Jules' birthday with her and for everyone to spend time together. We all knew at that time it was God's plan for our family.

We are now, after many hurdles, at the translator. We are expecting our paperwork back by the end of this week and I will then drive it to Orlando to the Haitian Consulate for authentication. THEN, off to Fed-Ex to Chris and Mde. Woolley.

I have not been very good about keeping this blog updated, but will try to get some pictures of our family together and of the PROVERBS girls updated. Hope you will join us in praying for us as this journey continues.

Home Study

Our Home Study is complete and in the hands of Chris. I am working on collecting all
the miscellaneous notarized documents to add to the Home Study. Waiting for the documents to return from the State of Texas with authentication. Will then be ready
to send everything to translator. Received letter from Jules, she is doing well in
Morning Star and very thankful to be in that school. She and Gina have quite a bond
and she loves Gina very much. Thanks Gina for spending time in the Word with my little princess while she is still there with you. CANNOT wait to Fed-Ex all paperwork to Chris and Mde. Woolley. Hopefully soon!

GLORIOUS DAY!

Today we had our first appointment with Catholic Charities to start our home study
for the adoption of Julmanise from HIS HOME FOR CHILDREN in Haiti. We had our initial
interview, our physicals, blood work, were fingerprinted and have begun the arduous
task of reams of paperwork. We are sooooooooo excited.
We were in Haiti, as a family, Rick, Taylor and myself to celebrate Jules 13th birthday on April 4. Our final decision was made on that visit. Wonderful birthday
celebration with Lorraine Larrew and Naphtaline(her birthday same days as Jules, so
really a combo celebration for both girls).
Rick's heart was melted into a puddle by the love Jules showed to him. Taylor instantly fell in love with Jules and we are soooooo looking forward to being a "forever family". I understand the road may be a long one at times but am asking
GOD daily to help me keep my eyes on HIM and let him open the doors to move this process along in HIS time. Of course, the humanness in me wants it yesterday, but as many of you know, it is a journey. Please pray for us that we will remain in HIS will and accept delays with grace, as HE truly is in control and these days were planned by HIM long before we started this process. I pray also that Jules will feel HIS presence and comfort throughout this journey. Thanks to ALL who are praying for us and answering many redundant questions every day.
We love you HAL and CHRIS and pray that we will be a blessing to you and HIS HOME as
you are and have been and will continue to be throughout this journey.
We are so looking forward to having our Haitian PROVERBS BEAUTY home with us SOON!

HIS HOME for Children - Haiti

The children of HIS HOME for Children
are saying "Thank You" to ALL who visit,
contribute or whatever GOD leads you to
do!

HIS HOME for Children - Haiti

This is a video about the Bike Ride 300 in 2007 to raise
funds for HIS HOME. Please watch this video and ask God
what HE would have you do for HIS HOME for CHILDREN.
Hal and Chris Nungester have 100+ children in their care,
on a daily basis, feed, clothe and love these children.
We as adoptive parents are forever grateful for Hal and
Chris and all they do for our children and for us through
our adoption process. Please be prayerful about what GOD
may want YOU to do!
